What if I have dental insurance?
Your insurance will now just work the way your travel insurance does. Imagine you went on a trip to Paris and your airline lost your bags. Your insurance now advises you to buy a new bag, clothes, and keep your receipts. On your return back home, you get reimbursed by your insurance.
After completion of treatment at our practice, our trained team will provide you with all required receipts, as well as pictures, provider notes and records. This file is printed out for and emailed to you the same day. This helps our guests get reimbursed swiftly.
What does my insurance cover?
Just like people, all dental insurances are slightly different.
Some insurances reimburse the full cost of a few preventative exams along with dental cleanings annually. Others reimburse only a portion of the cost. As you can tell, this gets more complicated when we talk about treatments such as crowns, implants, root canals or sedation.
At a typical dental practice, you would first pay a deductible and receive your treatment. A bill would then be sent to your insurance and they would pay it all or a portion of it. This gets communicated to the dental practice, which would then send you the remainder of the bill not paid for by your insurance. The whole process may take anywhere from 30-90 days.
This means you could be left with a surprise bill in December for treatment completed in October. Talk about stress!

- Being a Club Member, first and foremost, means you are no longer paying for dental insurance via your paycheck. On the first of January, you pay an annual fee to Aashvi Smiles that enables you to access a full range of services at any of our locations, at a reduced rate.
- Our services include exams, cleanings, fluoride, crowns or fillings as needed, items on our Comfort Menu such as laughing gas and items on our Smiles Shoppe such as a Waterpik and electric toothbrush. It also includes reduced rates on more involved treatments such as IV Sedation and extractions.
- As a Club Member, you do not have to wait on authorizations and are not subject to any restrictions from a third-party before getting needed treatment.
